Urbacon Headquarters

Located in the downtown Toronto East Leslieville neighbourhood, Urbacon’s new office space was designed by Urbacon and Cannon Design. The project converted an outmoded warehouse into a 58,600 SF corporate headquarters that reflects our reputation for high-level design and detail. Additionally, this project exemplified our firm’s commitment to the environment and sustainable building through the implementation of ‘green’ features throughout the building program. Using green initiatives, Urbacon performed extensive building rework measures and decided on a design solution that would preserve as much of the existing building as possible. The new space included a mezzanine structure that overlooks the general office area and highlights an interior tree. Natural wood cladding and sun shades complete with a high-performance glazing system create a dynamic street presence along Lake Shore Boulevard East.
