Union Association Local 853 Training Centre

Urbacon is provided design, construction and construction management services for the 40,000 square foot training centre that will serve as a dedicated facility for Union members and new ap-prentices for retraining and to further the number of qualified professionals in the sprinkler and fire protection industry. The building includes training areas, demonstration areas, office spaces, meeting rooms, and showrooms for sprinkler equipment. Sustainable building features include on-site retention of stormwater with controlled release back into the natural system, sustainable building features such as LED lighting, high-efficiency water measures and a carpool partnership with the local and regional government.
