Serendipity Point Films

Urbacon was tasked with constructing a multi-storey, mixed-use office building for Serendipity Point Films, a boutique motion picture production company. The structural complexity of this pro-ject was meticulously managed. The narrow footprint required additional steel for wind bracing; zero lot lines meant underpinning the footings was a major requirement for the retaining wall; and multiple caissons were drilled to support the cantilever design of the upper floors. The interior spaces of the building are equally as unique as the building itself, including a custom steel and wood staircase that connects three floors within a limestone clad atrium.
