Infrastructure Ontario 222 Jarvis Street

The complete retrofit and modernization of Infrastructure Ontario’s nine storey, 628,000 SF office building at 222 Jarvis Street in Toronto, Ontario to AAA office standard included new base building interiors, upgrade of electrical and mechanical systems, complete with new lobbies, escalators, exterior facade, as well as overall shell and envelope remediation. The new building was LEED® Gold certified and will save 4,930 tonnes of CO2 a year. The refurbishment of 222 Jarvis is a highly visible project that aims to provide leadership in green retrofits and demonstrate that older buildings can be upgraded to the quality and efficiency of new buildings.
