Project description
Urbacon renovated four buildings at Mississauga Marketplace while all businesses remained fully operational. Work included a complete exterior renovation including customized awnings and the demolition and replacement of new sidewalks. During tiling, columns were enclosed with heaters so that conditions would be ideal for tiles to set during the cold winter months. Also, the roof height of the existing RBC Branch location was five feet lower than that of adjacent buildings. To mitigate snow load and create visual cohesion, a five foot parapet and snow roof was added to the building.
