McCague Borlack LLP is one of Toronto’s leading litigation law firms, and they pride themselves on being the largest insurance boutique law firm in Canada. Already in operation on the 27th floor of The Exchange Tower, this law firm wanted not only to upgrade their existing facilities, but expand to the 26th floor below. Construction of the 26th floor included several new legal offices, boardrooms and a food and beverage preparation area. The existing offices on the upper floor were upgraded with modern finishes. The materials of choice for both levels were glass, stainless steel, limestone and oak doors stained to match the existing. These materials placed against the neutral backdrop of the painted walls, work together to project the image of a unified, pristine and disciplined work environment. Custom built millwork was designed and built to highlight the furniture and accessories within the offices and the various boardrooms.
