Project description

Toronto Public Library’s Dawes Road Branch required a complete interior renovation. As General Contractor for the renovation, a complete demolition and rebuild was required and the existing HVAC system was also overhauled. New condenser units were installed in the underground parking garage. The custom-built circulation desk is the most striking feature of the new library interior. The Dawes Road Branch opened on January 2, 1976, the first library in Canada that is part of a condominium complex.
