CTV Agincourt Studios

The N1 News Room phase of the project consisted of 3,000 SF studio construction within the CTV Agincourt building for their 24-hour Newsroom Broadcast. The second phased was a renovation of CTV’s 7,000 SF newsroom and to construct 10,000 SF of executive offices and editing suites. All perimeter walls were cladded in sound attenuation material and the structural ceiling slab was sprayed with a different sound absorptive material. A structural tubular space frame set the backbone for the set lighting along with an independent control room complete with STC rated doors, frames and sloped tempered triple glazing windows that overlooked the entire set. Standalone HVAC system and electrical power upgrades were added to independently power the studio.
