Bentall – 6696 Financial Drive

Urbacon was selected as the Base Building contractor to build a building for Bentall Real Estate. The building was originally designed to achieve LEED® Silver Core and Shell Status but due to substantial efforts achieved a LEED® Gold Core and Shell Certification. The base building energy systems use a total of 47% less energy (calculated by cost) as compared to the reference building in ASHRAE 90.1-2004. Energy use is closely monitored by a BAS system and several electrical metres that can expand based on tenant growth. The BAS system is also capable of monitoring how much fresh air is being brought into the building to ensure proper levels of occupant comfort.
