CTV Masonic Temple Studios

The project involved the conversion of an approximately 150-year-old building into an advanced recording studio, on a very restrictive site. The CTV Masonic Temple studios project required a complete HVAC overhaul, the introduction of a new hydro service and a new hydro vault. A method of construction needed to be devised to modernize the electrical and HVAC systems in a building that was not built to accommodate them. A new system was installed to provide sufficient cooling for a studio and office environment. A new hydro feed was coordinated with local authorities to meet the building’s power demands.
